THE SHADOWS is a narrative, side-scrolling pixel action RPG about regression. Ramos — an inquisitor who lost his home to the shadows and now hunts them — is run through by Ate's spear, and wakes in a tavern on the day it all began, memories intact. The deeper he chases revenge, the more he comes to resemble the thing he hates.

No potions. To live, close in and execute.

• Execute to survive — Break an enemy, then finish it. The riskiest move restores the most HP.
• Swap-parry — Switch weapons mid-swing to turn aside a boss's blow and shatter its stance. Six weapons, each with its own skills.
• Wire action — Swing from anchors, yank enemies in, dash through the air.

What's in this build

Alpha 0.3 · Chapter 1 (prologue → the Ruined Sanctum → the trial).
Some backgrounds and the boss use placeholder art (licensed assets and a few AI-generated backgrounds). They will be replaced. Character and weapon pixel art and the story are made by our team.

『The Shadows』는 회귀를 다룬 내러티브 횡스크롤 픽셀 액션 RPG입니다. 그림자에게 고향을 잃고 그림자를 쫓는 심문관 라모스는 아테의 창에 꿰뚫려 죽음을 맞고 — 기억을 지닌 채, 모든 것이 시작된 날의 술집에서 눈을 뜹니다. 복수를 좇을수록 그는 자신이 혐오하던 그림자를 닮아 갑니다.

물약은 없습니다. 살고 싶으면 파고들어 처형하세요.

• 처형으로 산다 — 적을 무너뜨리고 마무리하세요. 가장 위험한 한 수가 체력을 가장 많이 돌려줍니다.
• 스왑 패링 — 무기를 바꿔 쥐며 보스의 일격을 흘리고 자세를 무너뜨립니다. 무기 6종.
• 밧줄 액션 — 매달려 흔들고, 적을 끌어당기고, 허공을 가릅니다.

알파 0.3 · 1장(프롤로그 → 폐허의 성소 → 재판). 일부 배경과 보스는 임시 그래픽(외부 에셋·일부 AI 생성 배경)이며 교체될 예정입니다. 캐릭터·무기 픽셀아트와 이야기는 팀이 만들었습니다.
